Students in classes from Early Commencement in Year 9 to the Year 12 Extension Hospitality benefit from these facilities. The Trade Training Centre enables students to attain the skills required to complete a range of Vocational courses.

This centre provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop food preparation, presentation and barista skills, whilst gaining exposure to the hospitality industry. Working regularly as baristas in the MacKillop Café, students can demonstrate their espresso coffee making abilities. Along with gaining practical skills, the students have the opportunity to cater for various functions that are held at the school, broadening their knowledge and talents. 

This facility has allowed the students a competitive advantage in numerous Commercial Cookery Competitions enjoying the success and accolades at Regional, State and National Competition Levels.

We are extremely proud of the students who have completed Hospitality at MacKillop College, and who have become chefs, managers and owners of cafes, restaurants and pop-up food establishments. Some students have pursued careers in Hotel and Tourism Management, International Event Management, Secondary and Tertiary Education.

This facility is truly an asset to the College community.
